The title "Citizenfour" refers to the online identity used by Edward Snowden when he originally made contact with members of the media exposing widespread government surveillance of US citizens and others. As a song, it is mostly a loose improvisation featuring guitar synthesizer backed up by an array of spacey guitars, bass, and drums.
